Ferdi Tayfur Turanbayburt, known as "Ferdi Baba", was born on November 15, 1945 in Adana, Turkey and is considered one of the leading figures of Arabesque music.
He rose to fame with influential songs such as "Çeşme", "Bırak Şu Gurbeti" and "Derbeder" in the 1970s and 1990s, releasing over 30 albums; in 1982 he founded the registered company Ferdifon Müzik
